Dialectical Behaviour Therapy


Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) focuses on how social factors affect thoughts and actions. The theory is that some people have more intense and unpredictable responses to emotional events. It helps people recognize and eliminate negative beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors. People also learn coping skills that help them manage intense emotions.
